Senior Bible Presentation

Mattie graduated from high school this year. She is so sweet and my kids adore her! We love you pretty girl!

IKEA, a Funeral, Worship

Mom, K, M, and I made a trip to Frisco to shop at IKEA. We at lunch at Cheesecake Factory and shopped til we dropped. The girls were SUPER! Mom and I got what we needed and a few things we wanted. It was fun but we were worn out when we finally made it home. I am excited to get the shelves all ready and set up in the playroom.

My sweet friend Erin's mother passed away. These girls and I go way back. All the way to kindergarten for some of us. Mrs. Florence was a special lady and will be missed. 

This pretty girl is wearing a fifty year old dress to worship. We love Mrs. Kathy's hand me downs!

Little bit does not like to sit still so we spend most of our worship time in the nursing room. She spits up and rolls around before finally falling asleep...sometimes. She'll get the hang of this sitting business before long!

Happy Easter!

The Easter bunny visited our house last night. He left some fun prizes for all three kids.

They were pretty excited about their baskets of goodies.

Now we are all dressed up for worship. 

Youth Halloween Party

We had a costume party and scavenger hunt for our church youth group. Some of the costumes were pretty awesome! They had fun doing the scavenger hunt. They had to bring things back to us and we had a few older couples from our congregation drive them around town. Their imaginations are too funny!

Bowling

We took our youth group bowling and out to eat. They are such a good group of kids and my two have a lot of fun with them!

We had so much fun bowling with the big kids, we decided to go again. Mamaw and Papaw came as well as Jules and Luke. Seth decided to stay home. It was a fun family night before school starts!

VBS

It's VBS week here. I'm teaching kindergarten which means I get to teach J and his friends this year. They are such a fun group of kids. 

After a week on the beach these two are exhausted. This is what happened after just one day of vacation Bible school!

One of our lessons was about a wedding so we had wedding cake and punch for snack time.

We saw a beautiful rainbow one night at dinner. It was one of the brightest rainbows I've ever seen!

Sweet Kathleen and Abby graduated from high school. We celebrated their accomplishment at the Senior Bible Presentation after worship tonight. I can't believe these young ladies are going to college! My kids love them!

K and I helped in J's class again. We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and made torn paper butterflies.

K likes to practice baseball with J. She is pretty good at hitting the ball!

One of Gram's sisters had a birthday party. The four sisters are something else!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to our church's Easter egg hunt today. Both kids found several eggs and were excited to see their friends. It's always a lot of fun to participate in this egg hunt!
