Easter Party at School

K and I made cupcakes and cookies for J's school party. I promise I didn't let her lick any spoons until we were finished with them. M also helped by playing with her toys while we baked. She is such a trooper!

J had a fun time at his party. He is ready for egg dying now!

And just because...back wrinkles! <3 p="">

Happy Valentine's Day

J celebrated at school. M and I got to go to the party. He loves his class and Mrs. Hill. He had fun but was ready for winter break!

Blake and I took the kids to Outback for a Valentine date. They loved it and J was especially excited because we let him order Dr. Pepper. K had Sprite. That's a big deal for them because they don't get to drink sodas often. M slept through dinner which was great because it took a while. Mommy looks a little tired!

K had a little Valentine breakfast with a few of her friends. We had to postpone it because some of us had been sick. Then on the day of the party, Brandie called and her bunch had the flu. We were sad they couldn't come and hope they feel better soon. These four little ones had a good time tough!

School Egg Hunt

J got to go the egg hunt at school and have a party in his classroom. It was the fastest egg hunt ever! They could find 10 eggs and then they were finished. He had fun though and they had popsicles when it was over.

Class Party

J had a fun Christmas party at school! They decorated sugar cookies that I made and got to open presents from Mrs. Wynn. We read The Polar Express and they watched part of the movie that day as well. J had a fun time but was excited to leave for Christmas break! I am glad to have him home for a couple of weeks.

I made Grinch fruit kabobs. This is all that was left!

Class Halloween Party

I got to plan the Halloween party for J's class. We celebrated the holiday and also birthdays from August to October. I had a lot of fun planning and organizing, and I think the kids enjoyed the party!

The table is set!

I turned the juice boxes into mummies.

Chocolate spider cupcakes and vanilla pumpkin cupcakes

Grape kabobs with spider rings! These were a hit!

Lots of treat bags

I made the birthday kids a special treat. I saw the idea HERE.

Preschool Egg Hunt

J's preschool had an Easter party and egg hunt this morning.  He was very excited about it and K got to go as well.  After snacks in the classroom, they kids went outside to hunt the eggs.  K played with some of the smaller kids while J found eggs.  J loves school and he has made several new friends.  It was fun seeing him interact with them.

Love these two babies

After the egg hunt, the kids had a special visit from the Easter bunny.  J figured out it was one of my friends dressed up.  He said, "I know that wasn't the real Easter bunny.  That was just a human."  I told him the real bunny needed helpers just like Santa.

This was the perfect way to begin our holiday weekend!
