Happy 80th Birthday, Granny!

Granny turns 80 on July 10th so we planned a little surprise party. The boys fried fish and I made a cake. One of our senators even issued a citation. His mom is Granny's friend so she came and read the citation. Jacque, Linda, and Amelia also surprised her with an Alaskan cruise. I'm pretty sure she was happy and I know she was surprised!

Happy 90th Birthday, Gran!

Blake's sweet grandfather turned 90! We had a big party to celebrate and he loved it. Lots of friends and family came to wish him well and visit. Blake's mom did a fantastic job planning the party.

Beach Birthday Bash

Karrie is 40! We celebrated her big year by taking her to Navarre Beach for the weekend. It was cold, windy and perfect! The waves, sand, and salty sea smell were a great break for all of us. Thank you for letting me plan your fun weekend. Happy birthday, sweet friend!

This baby had her first big road trip and we a trooper. She liked the adult attention and the peace with no big brother and sister. 

Sleeping in the sunshine

The drive back was interesting. The weather started to get back about the time we reached Louisiana. We drove through a lot of snow and ice but we finally made it back. We also almost died in a car chase but that's another story for another day. 

Lizards and Books, Birthdays and 100

J was invited to a few birthdays this month. Karrie took O and friends to see Night at the Museum 3 and eat at TaMolly's. They had a great time! Thanks John and Karrie!

A turned 6 and had a Frozen party at her house. They played and had a big time. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!

For 100th day at school, J's class had a special guest who is actually 100! He is a pretty neat man and loves life! He hunts, dates, and drives. J thought it was awesome!

They were being so sweet until I took a picture. That's when K decided to get up. That boy loves to read! He reads everything and is even reading chapter books now. I'm so proud!

While helping Dad in the yard, this little guy decided to come out and play. I think he might have regretted that decision after a while with these two kiddos!

Christmas at Mimi and Poppy's

We had Christmas with Mimi and Poppy on Blake's birthday. He's 36! Happy birthday, Dear!

After lunch and presents, the five of us took Blake shopping for a new suit and dress pants. Then we went to see Annie. M did great during the movie and we all liked it.
