Marbles...Again

We loved the Marbles Children Museum in Raleigh so much, I decided to take the kids back.  It was even better the second time because there were fewer people there.  This place is just amazing!  If you are ever in the Raleigh area, you must go.  After the museum, we had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  It was delicious!

Ready for some fun!

J found dinosaurs.

Shopping with baby

Cooking

Working in the garden

This was awesome!  It was a little under the sea room.  They were jumping on those blue bubbles.

Trains...don't you love the wall!

Working on the submarine

Ships Ahoy!

Playing hockey...K got to play today because we were the only ones upstairs.  She loved it!

We had to change clothes when we got to the car.  K was soaked!

Long Day in Raleigh: Part 2

We spent our afternoon at Pullen Park.  It is a beautiful, huge park with an awesome playground.  K got to play in the sand while J climbed ropes.  The carousel was fun and we rode it several times.  K took a nap while we were there.  I walked around the duck pond with her while she slept.  It was a little chilly but it was a beautiful day!

We had plans to eat at The Cheesecake Factory for supper but when we found out it was going to be a 90 minute wait we decided the food court in the mall sounded pretty good!  The mall was huge and we walked around the entire place.  We spent quite a long time in the Lego store.  J played games on the computer and K built towers with tiny pink and purple Legos.

A Long Day in Raleigh: Part 1

Today, we drove an hour north to Raleigh.  Our first stop was Marbles Children's Museum.  IT WAS AMAZING!!!!  It was huge and full of people but the kids loved it!  The first floor had a mini city (not so mini actually) where J and K could shop for groceries, cook in a restaurant, visit the doctor, ride an ambulance, be a vet, and so much more.  K spent a lot of time shopping with her baby and J gave every dog a bath!

There was also a Splash zone.  I had to drag K away from the water!  She would have stayed there all day.

The submarine and pirate ship were pretty awesome too!

We went upstairs to find even more fun.  J used real tools.

He exercized a little.

They worked in the bank and played in the money pit.

J played hockey.  This was his favorite thing!

And he worked at the pizza place.

The children's museum was so much fun and I am already planning to bring the kids back next week.  But our day in Raleigh isn't over yet!
