Last Day of Preschool

J had his last day of preschool today.  His school had an end of the year picnic so we thought that would be a great way end the semester.  He has had so much fun going and loves his teacher and friends.  He has learned a lot and it was a good way to prepare him for kindergarten in the fall.  It helped me a little too!

Little Red Recital

Every year, J's preschool has an end of the year recital.  This year the theme was seasons of the year.  J was in the "All Seasons" group and had his own line to sing along with a verse with his group.  He was so excited!
He actually woke up with fever Friday morning but was determined to perform Friday night.  He did great!  I can't wait to get a copy of the video.  The recital was so cute and all of the kids were so cute.

Ready for the show!

He got hot and tired of waiting.  His group went last.

"In the winter time, the snow will fall."

After the show...time for some ice cream!

Preschool Egg Hunt

J's preschool had an Easter party and egg hunt this morning.  He was very excited about it and K got to go as well.  After snacks in the classroom, they kids went outside to hunt the eggs.  K played with some of the smaller kids while J found eggs.  J loves school and he has made several new friends.  It was fun seeing him interact with them.

After the egg hunt, the kids had a special visit from the Easter bunny.  J figured out it was one of my friends dressed up.  He said, "I know that wasn't the real Easter bunny.  That was just a human."  I told him the real bunny needed helpers just like Santa.

This was the perfect way to begin our holiday weekend!

Little Red School House

J started preschool today.  We've been on the waiting list since September and he is finally going!  He is SO excited!  He will go three mornings a week until the end of the school year.  I think he's going to like it!
