Happy Valentine's Day

J celebrated at school. M and I got to go to the party. He loves his class and Mrs. Hill. He had fun but was ready for winter break!

Blake and I took the kids to Outback for a Valentine date. They loved it and J was especially excited because we let him order Dr. Pepper. K had Sprite. That's a big deal for them because they don't get to drink sodas often. M slept through dinner which was great because it took a while. Mommy looks a little tired!

K had a little Valentine breakfast with a few of her friends. We had to postpone it because some of us had been sick. Then on the day of the party, Brandie called and her bunch had the flu. We were sad they couldn't come and hope they feel better soon. These four little ones had a good time tough! 

Winter Break and More

The kids made giant valentine's for Mamaw and Papaw. M was a sweet onlooker.

We worked cows. J is really becoming a big helper. He works the poles.

K had a cavity...bummer...and her dentist also fixed her chipped teeth in the front. She did such a great job! No crying! Her dentist said he wished all his patients were as good as she was.

Sundays...This girl keeps me busy during worship. Sometimes she just needs to lay down and kick. And sometimes she spits up everywhere and we have to change clothes. 

Happy Valentine's Day!

Karrie had us over for a little valentine breakfast with friends. It was great! The kids played and exchanged valentines. J was happy because he's been sick this week and missed his party at school. Apparently a bug has been going around because about half of his class was out that day.
We are on winter break this weekend so we are enjoying the time off!

Making Valentines

We decided to make our own valentines this year. It was a challenge to get a couple of good pics of the kids but we finally did it!

This was J's valentine for school. We attached pencils to them.

These were for another party. J's have stickers attached to the back. 

They all turned out pretty cute!

Happy Early Valentine's Day!

We are going to the beach tomorrow so I cooked a special Valentine supper a day early.  After our trip to Lumberton, the kids napped while I decorated the room and cooked.  Not bad for a holiday celebration in a hotel room!  J was especially excited.  After their naps, they helped me dip strawberries in chocolate for Blake.  It was nice to all be together for Valentine's Day!

Surprises from Mom and Dad

On Valentine morning, both kids had surprises in the chair envelopes.  I finally took time to finish the boy peg dolls for J (I still need to seal them and touch up) and he loved them!  He was so excited to have his own set and was especially happy to find a Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll in the box!  I will try to post pictures of them soon.

I decided to hold on to K's cupcake matching set that I made before Christmas and that was her Valentine surprise.  Right now she likes to throw them but I'm sure it won't be long and she will know what to do with them. 

I also gave them cards that play music.  K liked hers and danced for us!
