7 Months Old

This sweet girl is growing, growing! She is ready to crawl and keeps getting on all fours but she hasn't made her move yet. I'm happy that she's waiting because when she starts I'm going to be extra busy!

She has had another ear infection this month but maybe we've got that whipped. She is eating cereal more often and we have tried a few baby foods. She likes almost everything but hasn't been so fond of apples. She really likes mashed potatoes! We also introduced a sippy cup but she hasn't figured that one out. Considering she won't take a bottle it might take a bit for her to use a cup. 

This girl is super sweet and loves to talk to her brother and sister. She likes to be the center of attention and will let us know what we aren't giving her enough! 

She's the light in our days. We love her!

6 Months Old

Sweet M got to spend her half birthday on the beach! 

How is she 6 months old?!?! Didn't we just bring her home from the hospital? She is getting SO big and is just precious. She is the happiest baby and smiles all of the time. She isn't sure about the sand and sea but I'm sure she will grow to love it!

She rolls everywhere. She is never still. We have quilts and blankets in every room for her to lay on but seems to like the wood floor better because she doesn't stay on them! 

Her two bottom teeth are in and they are sharp! She puts everything in her mouth and likes to bite. 

She has tried a smashed banana and is eating rice cereal a little more often but with the spitting up, I'm not pushing it. When we get home I think we will introduce baby food. 

She recognizes her name and familiar faces. She knows when we are talking about J or K, mom or dad. 

This week she hears the helicopter fly by us and watches it across the sky. She can tell the difference between the helicopter and the ranger. Of course, she is brilliant!

4 Months Old

She was not happy about this little photo shoot so we had to take the dress off and try again!

M is growing so much. She also has quite the personality. She is happy most of the time and loves attention. She will let us know what she isn't getting enough of it.

She is rolling over from front to back but has no interest in doing it for the camera. She will hold onto our hands and help pull up into a sitting position but doesn't sit up alone. She has also started blowing raspberries. 

She weighs 17 pounds and is 26 inches long. She's in the 95th percentile and is not slowing down! Her doctor is very impressed and I am feeling pretty proud of myself because she's doing all that growing with mommy's milk. 

She is a beautiful, smart, sweet baby girl!

M loves her hands! She is very happy when she finds her thumb.

She also likes bath time! 

3 Months Old

Our baby girl is three months old today. I don't know how but three months have flown by. She is growing, growing, growing. She is one happy 3 month old. She still spits up all of the time but she seems to have out grown the pain and we just do a lot of laundry and mopping. We took her off the medicine and are just going to deal with the mess. I'm okay with that. She is much happier and easier going without the meds. 

She smiles all of the time! She has dimples for miles. Papaw says she has three dimples in one. Those cheeks are so kissable! She prefers mommy over everyone else. I take her with me just about everywhere. She will stay with Mamaw for an hour or so while I take J to guitar or do a quick grocery run but she won't take a bottle and doesn't like the pacifier much so only mom will do when she's unhappy.

She is starting to reach for toys. She recognizes her name and faces of family. She loves her brother and sister but prefers they not touch her face. She likes her hands and will suck on her fingers sometimes finding her thumb. 

She's still likes to snuggle and we are happy to do that!

2 Months Old

This girl is 2 months old today. She has grown so much. Her cheeks are fatter, dimples are deeper, and we just keep falling more in love with her. 

Weight: 12 lbs. 8 oz. (87th percentile)

Length: 23 inches (72nd percentile)

She loves mommy's milk and eats a lot. She smiles all of the time and wants people to talk to her. She thinks her brother and sister are loud but she still likes having them around. She loves to snuggle and rock to sleep. She sleeps pretty good at night but sleeps best in mommy and daddy's bed. We don't mind though. We think she's pretty cute!

Another month with this lovely, cheeky baby. She is the sweetest, dimply girl. 

K thought her baby needed to be in the crib. I found her there when I laid M down. They are the same size!

Moving on up to a size 1...sniff, sniff

We have been wearing Mrs. Kathy's little day gowns. They are over fifty years old and still so sweet. That's Mrs. Kathy's blanket too. It's our favorite because it's so soft.

Bath time is her favorite. She loves let the water run on her and splash.

Sunny Days and Sweet Treats

The weather has been nice so we decided to take a little walk this afternoon. K tried out her new scooter and then she had a go on her bike but it needs some adjusting. M liked the sunshine but wasn't thrilled with her cute sweater. She's not a fan of hats! 

J wanted to go see Dobber one last time. He is being sold so we went to say goodbye. He was busy eating but he looked our direction. The kids will miss him!

We didn't get around to making these delicious treats for Christmas so we made them today! J is allergic to nuts so we made them with M&Ms instead of pecans. They are just as good.

M got a little fussy while we were cooking so I laid her in the bassinet. She fell right to sleep all by herself. That's the first time that has happened. What a sweet baby!

One Month Old

M is one month old today. She is super sweet but was not happy about having a photo shoot today. Maybe it's because my camera was acting up and the photos were too dark! Smart girl!

She loves to snuggle with mommy and isn't fond of her bassinet. She was sleeping great on her tummy in her crib but has decided that's no good. I think she just likes to rock!

She spits up a lot and her tummy hurts after she eats. We are going to try a few things to see if we can get her to stop hurting. 

We love having her here. She is pretty cute!

This girl can't get enough of her new baby sister. She is a great helper!
