Going to the Movies

Mom and I took the kids to see Box Trolls after J's seven year check up. It was cute!

Mom, Karrie, and I took all the kids to see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. We laughed so much! All the kids loved it and we did too. We took them to eat pizza afterwards.

Autumn Trees

I have not done a very good job lately at doing crafts with the kids. So tonight we made autumn trees using construction paper. They used their hands as the trunks. I'm ready to have our play room finished so I can find all of our crafting things!

Fair, Shopping, and More Fun

September has been a fun, busy month. See what we've been up to!

Howard County Fair...J's picture got a first place sticker!

We've been making lots of trips to Little Rock for doctor appointments and K is a great traveler and shopper.

We also took Granny to the doctor in Texarkana.

J killed a skunk in the pasture next to Granny's house. It never sprayed. I think there was something wrong with it.

K drew this horse during worship. I love it!

Listening to the football game...this girl!

My big helper

J had to decorate a pumpkin for school so K painted one too.

More Birthday Fun

After celebrating with friends, Blake and I took J and K to see Dolphin Tale 2. They loved it! Then we met Mamaw, Papaw, Seth, Jules, and Luke at Osaka for supper. J loves it and we rarely eat there. It was a fun birthday!

We had a small family party Sunday after worship. Mom and I cooked lunch and J opened more presents. He got new boots from Blake and me. We also have been working on his bedroom. He will get to move into it next weekend! Mom and Dad got curtains and a horse canvas to go in his room. He was really excited about the work pants and coveralls from Seth and Jules. And Luke gave him a fishing rod and reel. I think he has had a pretty good birthday!

7 Years Old

My sweet boy going to sleep as a six year old for the last time. How is it possible that he is seven?!?!

After much thought and mind changing, J decided he wanted a "How to Train Your Dragon" party. It was a fun and easy party. The kids all had a great time and I love how everything turned out.

I found these bags at Target and filled them with stickers, glow swords and axes, and a little candy. They all made shields out of plastic plates too.

Our dragon cake was precious! Thank you Amanda for the idea.

Letting Dobber Go

Remember this little guy? Dobber is growing. He has gotten to big for me to be in the back yard with him because he likes to butt my belly. He needs to make some friends so we moved him to the pasture. He will still get his two bottles a day but now he can learn to eat grass and hay like the other calves.

We tied a ribbon around his neck so we could find him easier but it didn't stay on long.

The cows came to meet him!
