Visiting Mimi and Poppy

We spent the day with Mimi and Poppy. It was a beautiful day so the kids played a little golf.

They needed to cool off after being outside so Mimi played water games with them before they got involved with the Wii.

Swimming

It's been such a crazy summer! The weather has been unusually cool for our neck of the woods so we haven't spent much time in the pool. But we finally did a little swimming and the kids got to swim with Luke and Ethan. J loved it because they are big enough to throw him around. 

Diving and jumping

Luke tried to dive through the little ring but got stuck! He could do it high school but I think he's a little big for that now. It was pretty funny watching him get out of it.

Dobber

Meet the newest member of our family, Dobber. This little guy doesn't have a momma so he is living in our backyard now. Let's hope he likes the bottle because my kids are in love! He is pretty cute!

VBS

It's VBS week here. I'm teaching kindergarten which means I get to teach J and his friends this year. They are such a fun group of kids. 

After a week on the beach these two are exhausted. This is what happened after just one day of vacation Bible school!

One of our lessons was about a wedding so we had wedding cake and punch for snack time.

He tried snorkeling but couldn't get the hang of it. My little swimmer decided just goggles were fine! He found all sorts of treasures while Luke snorkeled beside him.

More Vacation

Morning walks with Mamaw

They wish they lived here! I love having two beach lovers! They play in the sand, swim in the ocean, and enjoy every minute of it. They even swam with a shark. Not on purpose but it happened.
