We put up corn today. Dad bought it again and we did it at Mom and Dad's house. The kids love helping shuck and they were great at moving it to the water for washing. Playing in the water is always the most fun! They found two worms and played with them for a while too. We ended up with 38 quart bags of corn cut off of the cobb. Delicious!
Last night, J asked why we weren't doing corn all together at Granny's. He still remembers doing that when Poppa was here. I love that he has those memories and hope that he will always remember those things even though he still gets sad when we talk about them. I love his tender heart!
