Thankful

I am so thankful for my hometown and neighbors.  An accident happened near our house tonight and I was amazed at the number of people who turned up to help.  It makes me swell with pride that there are so many willing people in this little place.  Living in a small town, it's easy to get annoyed with the way news travels but in situations like tonight it is a time to give thanks to God that we have neighbors in the know. 
I am also thankful that the boy involved in the accident is going to be okay and that all of the neighbors were home and answering their phones.
