We made ornaments today. First we made candy ornaments using peppermint discs and spearmint discs. I found the idea
here. J helped me unwrap the candy but got tired of this very quickly! This would be better for older kids or just moms. They turned out really cute though! We made six and I broke one. Oops! I let the first four cook a little too long but I kind of liked the effect. The tutorial said 10 to 15 minutes but mine only took about 8 minutes. Just watch them closely if you try to make them because they melt fast.

J enjoyed making a Rudolph ornament out of popsicle sticks. I remember making these in school and I made them with my first graders every year that I taught. We added antlers later using a brown pipe cleaner.
